Companies may talk a good game when it comes to sustainability and corporate social responsibility, but how well do they really communicate the issues to consumers?
The annual Big Brand Report from our friends at Sustainly provides some answers and fascinating insights.
Weltch Media was again pleased to help produce the Report, which looks at how 165 brands belonging to 15 of the world’s biggest fast moving consumer goods companies use Facebook to talk about healthy food, wellness, climate change, sustainable sourcing, self-esteem, LGBT, recycling and other sustainability issues.
The research also looks at the relevant issues and concerns that fans post on brands’ Facebook pages, and the report highlights 10 best-practice examples of how brands connect with fans using social media.
The 165 brands examined are owned by the following companies.
- ABF
- ABInBev
- Coca-Cola
- Danone
- Diageo
- General Mills
- Johnson & Johnson
- Kimberly-Clark
- Mars Inc.
- McDonald’s
- Mondelez
- Nestle
- PepsiCo
- Procter & Gamble
- Unilever
You can download the Report free, if you’re a registered member of Sustainly (and if you’re not, that’s free too).
