Classic car events deserve praise

Congratulations go to the organisers of two recent classic car events which we attended – both were great days out, and both raised money for charity.

Our Nissan Pao offered a contrast to the Ferraris and other sporty machines on the Wye Valley Run organised by Chepstow Rotary, as we followed a wonderfully scenic route from Chepstow Castle up past Hay and back to the finish at Caldicot Castle.

The Pao raised more questions at the South Wales Classic Car Club‘s annual show at the Pencoed campus of Bridgend College. Is it a Fiat? Renault? Citroen? Trabant?

Events such as these take a lot of organising, so we congratulate those responsible for providing car owners and spectators with a great day out – and helping some very deserving causes.

Hope to see you next year!
